PROBATIONARY ACCREDITATION

Probationary Accreditation: If an Accredited Provider (Organization) proved to be not in compliance with the American Association of Continuing Medical Education® Accreditation Standards & Policies, the Accreditation Review Committee (ARC) may place the organization’s accreditation status to “Probationary”, depending on the severity of the violation. The duration of this status may not be extended over 24 month per incident. This status may last up to 24 months from the time of the Accreditation Quality Auditing Committee (AQAC) final decision. If this status was changed to “Probationary” due to a filed complaint against the organization outside our organization and its staff, the accredited provider’s status may not be changed to “Probationary” until the Accreditation Quality Auditing Committee’s final decision. (See Procedure for Filing a Complaint)
